1937: “MISS ANATOMY” A & P AID, CIRCA 1937

Miss Anatomy, circa 1937, was a life-sized female figure used during anatomy and physiology lectures. The figure, sculpted from actual life and featured internal organs that could be removed for lecture purposes.

The model has been part of the collection at the New York Museum of Science and Industry in Rockefeller Center, New York City, New York since approximately 1955.
