1991 LIFEPAK 300 AUTOMATIC EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATOR
Introduced in 1991 by Physio Control, the Lifepak 300 was among the earliest automatic external defibrillator (AED) units on the market. Unlike AED used today, which record events on a data chip for later download, the LifePak 300 recorded on a tape cassette or printed events in real time or as a code summary.
