Responding Heroes: Remembering September 11, 2001
Join The National EMS Museum and the Atlanta History Center in commemorating the 20th Anniversary of September 11, 2001
Responding Heroes will be open September 10, 2021 to October 17, 2021 at the Atlanta History Center. The exhibit features stories and art from responders as well as memories from the response efforts in the hours, days and weeks following the attacks of September 11, 2001.

The Art of Emergency Care
Have you ever wondered how art effects our lives? This exhibit explores the history of EMS through artwork created for and by first responders. From training manuals of the 1880’s to contemporary first responder art created through a journey of healing and discovery, this exhibit is a visual representation of the history of pre-hospital care.
From Battlefield Medicine to Civilian EMS
Explore how the military has influenced civilian EMS practice and learn about the innovations brought back from the front lines of conflicts from the Civil War to the current conflicts and frontline care challenges facing our military.
