1964: PONTIAC SUPERIOR HI-TOP AMBULANCE
The Pontiac Superior line of raised-roof ambulances were very popular with ambulance services during the 1960s. This 1964 professional car featured piped-in oxygen, suction, and a good cabinetry design. The Superior Body Corporation of Lima, Ohio used its trademark “Bullet” style front and rear warning lights and this ambulance also features a B&M “Thunderchief” chrome siren.
