1970s: VINTAGE MCCU AMBULANCE
This vintage photo shows the interior of a Mobile Coronary Care Unit (MCCU), which was operated by the late Randall Eastern Ambulance Service in Miami-Dade County, Florida during the early 1970s. Note that the stretcher is center mounted in order to allow greater patient access by the technicians. Also note the Physio Control Life-Pak 2 to the right, which was first introduced in 1972.
