1980s: SURETECH LIFE SUPPORT LITTER

This Suretech Life Support Litter is a self-contained mechanical CPR device that is powered by two large Oxygen cylinders. Mechanical CPR allows for high quality, consistent chest compressions, as well as for continued CPR when EMS personnel must be restrained thus increasing their safety. Grant Hospital’s Lifeflight of Columbus, Ohio used a Suretech stretcher in their helicopters in the 1980s.
