1930: UNIFORM: NEW YORK CITY – AMBULANCE SURGEONS HATS

In the early 20th century, ambulance surgeons’ uniforms included hats. The hats would often have the name of the hospital the surgeon worked at when not on medical calls. City Hospital (now Elmhurst Hospital Center) is located in Queens, New York.
